Duotone is the alias of songwriter Barney Morse-Brown, cellist with multi-platinum artist Birdy and BBC Folk Award winners the Imagined Village, Chris Wood, Eliza Carthy and Jackie Oates.

Duotone’s most recent album Let’s Get Low, written at home on his narrowboat, reveals a songwriter who is unafraid to explore real-life experiences that are often hidden from view. His debut album Work Harder & One Day You’ll Find Her (2009) and critically acclaimed second LP Ropes (2011) saw Duotone navigating his way through a personal loss; Let’s Get Low, after two years in the making, presents a new perspective on his experiences and explores the meaning of home and his sense of place.

Duotone will releasing and touring in support of a new EP inspired by the paintings of artist Victoria Crowe, and the life of shepherdess Jenny Armstrong.
